Eva is fighting for her life in an abandoned town, where she is hunted by vicious monsters. She must face her past and come to terms with the dire consequences. When the truth is unravelled, it is revealed that everything was happening within her own dreams. Eva awakens inside a cell of Ashmoor Prison, where she awaits her death sentence. While she gets her injection her mind is once again transported into a dream, where she is confronted by The Executor (The Gatherer). She fights for her life but ultimately is defeated. Back on Earth, a small funeral is held, only attended by her parents and Richard. In a post-credits scene, we see William Ashmoor informing Gladys Hooff about a new plan.

Hidden Message in End Credits

At the end of the end credits, there is a short text in binary, when translated it informs the reader to look for clues in characters. This led to the first letters of the names of the cast and crew, which were purposefully fabricated for this puzzle. The secret message reads: "Hail The Queen. Open Your Mind. You Will Never Return From DreamLand". 

The Backstory

If closely analyzed the film reveals a backstory for Eva. From what we can see is that there were four friends: Eva, Michael, Clara and Richard. Eva and Michael are a couple, just like Clara and Richard. At some point, Eva starts having an affair with Richard. It all culminates with Clara's murder, for which Eva is found guilty. But what was the Executer's role in all of this?
